The Dorothy W. Hightower Collaborative Learning Center & Library will join over a thousand libraries around the world during International Games Week as they transform their libraries with play. Like many other libraries across the country and around the world, Hightower Library will offer special gaming programs and events suitable for Gordon State College.

At the Hightower Library, students, faculty and staff are invited to play games with library staff, find good reads, and enjoy snacks on Tuesday, November 5th 4:00 p.m. – 8:00 p.m. International Games Week is an international initiative supported by the American Library Association, the Australian Library and Information Association, Nordic Game Week, Finnish Game Week and L’Associazione Italiana Biblioteche

Director of Library Services, AngiahDavis says, “We want to engage students in a fun way.  Libraries are more than books. We want students to know that we are here to help!  Through gaming we make personal connections with our students.
